AC Shadows Unveils Bizarre Attack on Titan Event for Holiday Season
In a surprising collaboration that defies conventional forecasts, Ubisoft has revealed an in-game partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, including complimentary additional story content for Shadows players.
Mysterious Adventure Uncovered
According to the official release, "A strange encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original mission, where hints of banned practices and terrifying transformations reverberate through the darkness." The storyline presents a "oddly attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with journeying into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden group.
The mission concentrates on "strange tests and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Places and Changes
The teaser features the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser concludes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Prizes and Additional Material
Players who finish the adventure will acquire an unique katana together with numerous items concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Latest Free Story Addition
This release also brings the game's latest free story content, titled "The Mystery."
