Humid circumstances were predicted to continue along much of Queensland's east this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.
Tuesday was expected to become the heaviest precipitation period, with continued severe weather risk predicted across various areas of both areas.

Health officials warned that there was an higher risk of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the state's northern country region, specifically given the current weather patterns.
